The Historic Allen Chapel in Lancaster, Ohio

During Black History Month, the Fairfield Heritage Association honored Allen Chapel in Lancaster, Ohio with a historical sign. For more than 200 years, the church has been the cornerstone of the Black community in Fairfield County and over the years, with its Black history as a foundation, has become a multi-cultural congregation that brings together and welcomes all.
